Ariel Kinsler is a Los Angeles based surface designer inspired by a strong sense of nostalgia and child like wonder. With a combination of technical proficiency and hand rendered simplicity she loves to create art that feels timeless and relatable. Her current focus is making surface designs for textiles and children’s apparel.
NATURE
Nature is one of my biggest sources of inspiration. I’m always finding interesting twigs and rocks to bring home and add to my collection. I like to observe the environment around me and take in the sights, sounds, smells and details.
NOSTALGIA
The memory of what I loved in childhood is another thing that brings me endless inspiration. From my favorite cupcake dress to the tv shows and school supplies there is a comfort and joy that is evoked for the things from the past.
